Y In The World
Is your life going to change after January 20th, 2009?
Why not spend a minute imagining a better future? This might mean a solution to Darfur or a solid commitment to address climate change. Enter our video contest, Y in the World: International Cooperation and My Generation, and tell us what you think the next U.S. president should do On Day One of their administration.
The winners get an all-expenses paid trip to the UN Headquarters in New York City for the Youth Leadership Summit in July where you will have the opportunity to be a guest blogger for On Day One!
The only requirement is that you are 24 or under and have an opinion.
On Day One gives you the opportunity to voice your opinion about the great global challenges facing the United States and our future. The problems facing the candidates are big and you understand that no nation can confront the great global challenges we face alone – we have to work together with allies in the world.
Check out our Y in the World sample video below for an idea of what we're looking for!
