We now have a new opportunity with Iran. The next president should:

1. Open up talks with Iran WITHOUT any preconditions

2. Deal directly with the Iranian nuclear threat by proposing to create a multinational enrichment facility inside Iran that uses Iranian technology

3. Incorporate a very thorough inspection system of Iranian nuclear facilities

These initial nuclear talks allow us an opening to negotiate with the Iranians on the host of other issues that we've been neglecting

My thoughts on Nuclear Proliferation...hmmm. We saw first hand the effects of nuclear arms during WWII.It was our pilots that dealt the devastation. Since then we have testing bans signed, S.A.L.T 1 and 2 Talks,START 1 and 2 along with numerous others. What have they amounted to ? We now have other countries manufacturing their own...when does it end ? After we have successfully destroyed life on this planet..along with the planet. We are the only nation to use nuclear weapons on others and in our racism we used them on asians( I doubt we would have ever used them on the lilly white Germans). We could redeem and perhaps even save the human race if a politician could rise above the hypocrisy to a level of statesmanship rarely seen. I am a voting subject of this empire who will support the candidate with the strongest position against nuclear proliferation.

The U.S. needs to set an example. Stop the nuclear proliferation.

nuclear proliferation, from any nation, for any reason is beyond reason, irresponsible, and destructive to future generations left with the task of detoxifying our planet from the buildup of thousands of years of radioactive waste...if we don't blow our planet up first. we need to "BE the change we want to see in the world" Ghandi. It's time for us to practice what we preach. Nuclear proliferation, land mines and torture have helped destabilize our world. Let's start doing the opposite and turn things around.

We as a global community have not yet learned from history that nuclear proliferation the worse means of maintaining national security and "peace."

It is time to recognize the lack of respect for life,by most of the Middle East countries, allows them to destroy the world with nuclear proliferation.

No nuclear proliferation period! Until we have the science to deal with the waste we need to stop producting it. and for bombs and other war realted weapons we need to stop it completely. We are killing our soldiers with uranium poisoning and exposing so many to radiation sickness and cancer from what is going on now. enough!

Nuclear power is dangerous, as well as impossible to rid ourselves of its waste. it is destructive to our enviornment. Let us become a World leader again, and rid ourselves of the political damage that has taken place these past 7 years, and redeem ourselves. Nuclear proliferation will not do that. It will only continue to make us an enemy to other countries. Let us stop being hypocrites.
