First and foremost I feel the

First and foremost I feel the new president must put unlimited effort (education, financial, US-based) into R&D of alternative and renewal energy. I strongly feel that ALL American individuals, businesses, corporations need to understand how important it is that the US not only become energy independent but energy-efficient. It is very important that the US government take a STRONG role in promoting, encouraging, and insisting upon the guidelines set by the Kyoto Agreement.
