Restore the Constitution!

Every single thing that this "administration" has done to dismantle the Constitution MUST be reversed. The process for restoring our nation's freedom must begin on Day One. How can we possibly preach "democracy" to the rest of the world if our own leaders don't want us to keep it here in America?

Obey the Constitution!

On Day One, I would tell the president to obey the Constitution, which means not engaging in torture or spying without a warrant. I would restore the confidence that the U.S. has lost in the world by letting the world know that America respects the law: our Constitution, international law, and human rights. We need to become a beacon of human rights again, and that means talking to our enemies, because you can never solve a problem without at least talking to people. www.RadioInsideScoop.com

Impeach Cheney, Bush, and those responsible for all the destruction wrought by US policies

If we impeach Cheney, then Bush, and then the others responsible for destroying the Constitution, civil liberties, and the world reputation of the USA, we open the door to two crucial possibilities: 1 - Reconciliation and forgiveness between the USA and all the countries it has exploited and damaged. 2 - The recovery of a true democracy here in th USA. If we don't impeach those responsible for the destruction we have wrought upon the world and our own country, we invite more of the same.

How can we NOT impeach Bush and Cheney?

I live outside the country. Impeachment, of at least Cheney, will do more than any other action to restore America´s reputation. ¨Foreigners ask me " You live in a democracy. How can your leaders commit so many terrible things and nothing happens?" It´s a good question, isn´t it? We cannot start restoring our own balance as well as balance in the world without impeachment. Defend the Constitution first. Then we can work with others.

Scale back big government to save the environment

End the Iraq War & bring all troops home from all bases abroad. Sell foreign bases & pay down national debt. End the Federal Reserve. Give tax incentives to individuals & businesses for renewable energy such as wind, solar, micro-hydro, geothermal, etc., set high efficiency standards for all new government buildings & vehicles, retrofit old government buildings with green technologies, shut down Departments of Education, DEA, BATF, IRS, DHS, & TSA, and abide by the Constitution!!

It is time for Americans to rethink the interventionist foreign policy that is accepted without question in Washington

“Peace, commerce, and honest friendship with all nations- entangling alliances with none.” - Thomas Jefferson ******** "It’s hypocritical to dismiss certain founding principles simply because a convenient rationale is needed to justify interventionist policies today. The principles enshrined in the Constitution do not change. If anything, today’s more complex world cries out for the moral clarity provided by a noninterventionist foreign policy." --Ron Paul

Put civil rights ahead of government power.

No more secret, unsupervised "wars" on terror or anything else. Transparency, accountability and a fearless commitment and free expression -- only these things will allow us to play a meaningful role in the world again.

Addressing terrorists under the Law of Nations

As President under the Law of Nations and with the powers of Commander of the Armies and the Navies, tell the world that all terrorists are practicing the scourge of Private War. Article 82 of the Armies of the Union from 1863 promulgated by Abraham Lincoln will be re-instated for those found practicing Private War. The President should urge Congress to pass laws on this to be the equal in affirmation and brevity to Piracy laws starting at 18USC1651 and use the Law of Nations power it is given.

Actually follow our constitution when it comes to fighting wars...

Don't go to war unless you have a Declaration of War from Congress authorizing it (otherwise the war goes on forever). & Don't go to war unless the threat is IMMINENT. If it is, then ONLY go after the selected individuals involved.
