Lance Armstrong - Next French Ambassador
Let's get Lance to take a break from Livestrong, his bike shop and fitness facilities and be a liaison to France. He could set the stage for improved relations with our once critical allies and bridge a future for global cycling appeal. Additionally, on his return to D.C. to fill everybody in on the improving relations, he could grab the Commander in Chief and rally us all with a Critical Mass ride through the slowly creeping lanes throughout our Nation's Capital - YeeHaw ! (is a word in TX)
Hopefully, we can convince him to dress in something more American on his visits to France. Albeit they're more open-minded than our majority conservatives - there's still a better chance of improving relations with a suit in Stars & Stripes.
Could be a great idea, though we don't know if Barack can pedal, Hillary would slow things down, and McCain (god forbid) would require an ambulance in tow. I say, let's do it !
