UN Peacekeeping Forces Should Hire Blackwater (Let Me Explain)

Let's be clear, Blackwater employees are typically ex-Army. Well, we don't trust them on their own in Iraq, but they can be useful. And let's face it, the Blue helmets can't get anything done. So one needs to be toned down, the other needs to be toned up. And if it doesn't work, well, we can stop.

sure! they'll be kind of like a halfassed ss!

let's be clear: thugs are not necessary. if they're ex-army, it means they were judged to be too dangerous to unleash with weapons. there is no reason to lower our standards, the next country they could keep the peace in may be your own! i don't know about you, but i prefer the peacekeepers not running over women and children around town.

Let's be CLEAR: the Blackwater "infantry" is NOT composed of former U.S. soldiers -- they are primarily recruited from Central American and Third World countries, with little or no backgrounding done. Our government does not know who these people are. Nor does the sitting administration care. They've been exempted from responsibility to military justice, so they're not beholden to any code of conduct except to make profit (huge profit) for the Blackwater high rollers.
It is a disgrace to our nation that this is the kind of action we feel entitled to take, using unvetted thugs to murder people so the rich and powerful can steal their natural resources.
The Iraqi invasion was and is nothing but stealing oil from the innocent.
