Yeah, this sounds like pretty much the most shallow idea that I've heard all day. End our war OF terrorism? Yup, I don't think you've ever taken a foreign policy class in your life that wasn't taught by a dirty hippie. If you add up all the money the USA has spent on war reparations, rebuilding countries involved in wars we had nothing to do with starting or continuing, helping other countries with their disease, poverty and political upheavals, there would have been enough money to give every man, woman and child in the USA at least one million dollars each and we would have enough money to run this country for the next 250 years without another dollar being paid in by taxpayers. David, no matter what we have done for these countries there has only been one country that has ever paid us back one nickel for helping them. Do you know which one it was? If you don't, then you need to study your political history a bit more before you start talking down this country. With very few exceptions, every person that lives in almost any other country would give up everything they have just to have a chance at the American Dream. That, David is the reason the governments and the terrorists hate us. America holds out a promise that no non-Democratic country can....freedom. Those words, "life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness" really mean something to people who have never had it and know that they never will. The poorest of the poor here in America are far, far richer than many of the so-called Middle Class, even Upper Class in more countries than you can imagine. Even Mexico...which is why that country is exporting it's poor to America. Not only do they know that America has been providing for those who come here illegally, but a great deal of the Mexican economy depends on the money those illegals send back home. Perhaps you should think about all the good that America has done throughout the world. This is a great country and you and I are privileged to live here. There was no reason for that attack on 9/11. No justification. And there is no punishment too severe for those who incited it and those who carried it out.

Anywho, Oh Totally Uniformed One, WE did NOT start the war with the terrorists, THEY DID. Moslem fanatics have been KILLING Americans since 1968!

And we did NOT declare war on bin Laden, HE declared war on us.

And he did so in total disregard of the facts proving we have done more to help Moslems than anyone else has. WE are the ones who finally got NATO and the UN to stop the genocide of Moslems by the CHRISTIAN Serbs in Bosnia, Croatia and Kosovo.

It was the US who went into Somalia to help feed the people and to try to stop the killing. Then, after bin laden's pal KILLED 14 Pakistani MOSLEM "Peace Keepers"
and we tried to get the main "War Lord" who was responsible for it, bin laden's trained terrorists shot down our choppers and ambushed our people.

It was the US who supplied BILLIONS of dollars, all kinds of arms and the single most important weapon (the Stinger) so the MOSLEMS could beat all them there "Atheist" Russians. It is the US who is LOVED by the Moslems in Albania, Kosovo and by the Kurds. And there are Molems in Afghanistan and Iraq who LOVE the US as well.

It was the US who had to help Saddam STOP the religious nuts running Iran from defeating Iraq, and then taking over the entire area. (Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Israel Kuwait, and all other countries in the area.)

It was the US who protected MOSLEM Saudi Arabia from being further invaded by Saddam after he had invaded and occupied MOSLEM Kuwait. And IT was the US leadership and mostly US forces who freed MOSLEM Kuwait.
