I endorse the GLobal Marshall Plan, promising at least 1% of our GNP to international assistance. True security cannot come from bombs which leads to misery and retribution but from recognizing that as we sow so shall we reap. A greedy country which bullies and arrogantly invades it's neighbors, will never be loved, will never be safe. Terrorists have been more successful at winning the hearts of young people around the world since the US started acting like the biggest gang in the world.
The next president must endorse and work to institute a cabinet level Department of Peace. A first step is needed to counterbalance all of the money and power that has a vested interest in war.
