During the 2nd World War, the U.S. government employed gas-rationing because fuel was needed in order to protect the world from the Axis powers. Our grandparents accepted this as a necessary measure. We are now faced with a threat even more dangerous than Nazism, because it threatens not just humans, but all life. We need to legislate measures to curb petroleum usage in this country.
