The best way to restore America's reputation around the world is to become the leader in restoring the world itself: renewing our natural resources (not just conserving), and revitalizing our communities (not just making them sustainable). As I point out in my new book, Rewealth!, coming from McGraw-Hill in May, the universal goal is rapid, resilient renewal. This is what the candidates should be talking about, not just short-term "stimulus" efforts. We should lead the way in world renewal.
