Big media cut the democratic candidate numbers down from 9 to 2 without giving other candidates a chance to at least have an influence on the party platform.Often even though a candidate does not get the nod from the party they can,with popular support,have influence on what direction the party will go if elected.Such as for environmentals instead of nuclear .
