Before Day One - Our Responsibility

We need to understand democracy is not a consumer construct where we just tell the person in charge to do/fix something and then we forget it or complain it it doesn't happen the way we want. We need to take responsibility for the change we want. That change begins with each one of us individually and will take a lot of hard work and time to accomplish. The question in democracy is not what we want individually, but what can we contribute to make our country/world a better place for all.
