50% of aid to go to women, worldwide

Make this a condition of all US aid going overseas: a fair share (50%) must go to women's health (including birth control), women's education, and wonem's business initiatives (including nursery schools while mothers work. This should also be presented as a resolution at the UN. Afterall, UNESCO pledged to end all discrimination against women worldwide by 2004 ... the goal needs to be revived, and given real support.

50% is so huge compared to the scraps women usually get that it takes the mind a minute to wrap around the concept. It would change the world entirely for women to get the 50% that is at least what women deserve (especially when you consider that women and children are way more than 50% of the population, and that everything women get is shared with children).
