Open Up Exchange and Travel With Cuba

Open Up Exchange and Travel With Cuba

On Day One, the next president needs to take stock of how eroded and degraded our foreign policy position is with much of the world. One of the lowest-hanging-fruit opportunities to improve our foreign policy portfolio is to use people-to-people exchange, cultural exchange, and relaxed travel allowances to open up our relationship with Cuba.

Good god, finally someone is talking sense about Cuba. I am 57 and that means for almost my entire adult life this country has made it impossible to go to Cuba without government authorization or risking some sort of legal action (if one dared to go through Mexico or Canada or some back door late 60s venceremos brigade type visit). So much for freedom to travel.
Anyway, thanks for bringing the subject to the fore. I hope that you speak Spanish so that President Obama can name you undersecretary for Latin American Affairs

If every country did NOT despise america, because of the people that WE pay to represent us NOT representing US, only THEMSELVES/CRONIES INC. then perhaps they would not feel the need to have such stiffened securities. If all countrys would agree for the future world/children of tommarow to remove ALL WMD as there is NO need for this radical insanity at the hands of??????? It solves nothing! Perhaps all can live on this planet as neighbors and respect eachothers diversities and most of all respect MOTHER nature and her wild-life and her children. Karma WILL come a knockin'...
