On day one, I would want the President to: 1. call all major players in the middle east to a three day "engagement conference". The focus: stability in Iraq. 2. Bring the govt in Sudan to account via a new UN resolution authorizing the use of an international force if direct steps are not taken to halt the slaughter. 3. Re-engage the international community on the Kyoto Treaty 4. Authorize a complete audit and analysis of that state of security of our port system and major infrastructure.
