President Obama needs to stay focused on two big problems. 1. the economy and 2. corruption and failure at all levels of the federal government including the Congress and federal employees, Regardless whether they are Democrat or Republican there should be a housecleaning. We are fast approaching a crisis of confidence in the Federal Government but so far I have seen little to suggest that Mr Oboma has any new approach.

President Elect Obama, should schedule meetings with each of these knowledgeable experts: Michael Pollan, Greg Mortenson, Bill Moyers, James K. Galbraith, and Nancy Del Colletti. He should also meet with members of Native American Tribal Councils and initiate better ways to support the well being of Natives, including investigating actions our government took against Native Americans, and ultimately, pardon Leonard Peltier. P.S. Smudge the White House and Oval Office!

I think that the government should take a look at how much they spend on having meetings at hotels/resorts. I can only speak form my experience with the military. What ever happen to using the facilities you have on military installations or in government buildings? With the age of computers/teleprompters and other methods of bring people together without the cost bring everyone together.

As a self-employed, single woman who can't get health insurance, that's a huge isssue . As a self-employed, single woman who's lived frugally and saved all I could, just to see my little SEP (that's like a 401K for the self-employed) slashed and burned, I'm terrified about my future. But the most important issue to me: Animals/wildlife. Bush did his utmost to destroy their habitats. Please show compassion for those who have no voice. They may not be human, but they do have rights.

Encourage care of the earth by supporting organic gardening, real seeds that reproduce future generations. Don't let the patented Monsanto monsters become the New World Order. Food and water are two of the most basic of human needs that are being corporatized = held for ransom for the Almighty Profit. How is that not a form terrorism?

THE BEST WAY FORWARD FOR PRES. OBAMA IS TO LEAD THE WORLD WITH THE UNITED NATIONS IN SOLVING GLOBAL PROBLEMS THIS YEAR 2009 AND FORWARD.

Africa should be a large part of our hope for the furture, I believe real hope and change as well as opportunity for the world in the 21st century. Just look at the incredible healing process that has taken hold in both Rwanda and South Africa. In less than 15 short years, Rwanda and South Africa have moved from Genocide and Apartheld, to Black African Heads of State, justice and healing with regard to their oppressors (in both nations), and an embrace of the free enterprise system.

You can not win an ocupation and that is what the so called "war on terror" is. We are wrongly ocupying Iraq and Afghanistan and we are the ones causing terror. I told a friend yesterday with all these fires in Los Angeles: "Imagine if these fires were caused by another country to us. What would be our response? And it so happens that we are the ones causing this to innocent people in Iraq and Afghanistan for too many years already! Although we not only burn their houses, we are kiling them."

People are lined up to convict those bastards for all the evil they imposed on the world. To get back our integrity we must convict them.

We have mined much uranium and enriched it, and it can be used to produce nuclear weapons or to generate electricity. If we use the bomb-grade material to produce electricity, the power plants can be of a much smaller scale than conventional nuclear power plants. After this material is used to produce power, it cannot easily be used to produce nuclear explosives. Making electricity from weapons would be a "swords to plowshares" transformation and could mean reduced carbon dioxide emissions.
