Afghanistan now produces an incredible 92% of the world's heroin as Afghani's have little else to rely on for their economic well being. Futher, this drug trade props up radical Islamic terrorists and the Taliban insurgency. The next president needs to adopt a realistic approach to managing the poppy trade and give the Afghan people other outlets to support themselves economically.

Osama bin Laden is hiding in the in the mountains of Pakistan and everybody knows it! On Day One the next president should capture the man who murdered 3000 innocent Americans and bring him to justice. He should be tried and jailed like Charles Taylor, Slobodan Milošević and others who commit crimes against humanity to show that no one is above the law, and especially not fanatics who believe their murderous actions are sanctioned by god.
Send a clear message to the Pakistani people that we support democracy in their country by empowering dissenting voices like Bhutto, Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry and Nawaz Sharif. Attach some strings to the billions we're sending over in aid by DEMANDING that whoever the President is, they kill or capture Bin Laden and al-Zawahiri.
