Add a Homeschooling amendment to the Constitution!

"I believe that school makes complete fools of our young men, because they see and hear nothing of ordinary life there." --Petronius Satyricon. The framers of the Constitution never once considered education to be a role of the Federal Government. Education should begin first and foremost in the home. This next President needs to promote an amendment to the Constitution which protects a Parent's right to educate their child at home.

Help us help others, Mr./Mrs. President

Motivate the American people to get up and be change agents in their own world. Teach them, guide them, and help them to find the strength, skills, and determination to build their own organizations and stand up for the causes they believe in. We can't ask the President to fix all the problems of the world, but we can, should, and must ask him/her to do as much as they can to help us as we try to. Indeed, democracy is about participation of the whole, not the leadership of the few.
