contractors

A question for our future president, and current candidates to the presidency:

Most of our tax dollars do NOT go to reconstructing Iraq, but rather directly to the pockets of these so called contractors, which are Balckwater - Private Army KBR - Services for Oil, and construction CACI - IT firm providing interrogators and translators L3 Tital - IT firm providing interrogators and translators Thus my question is: are we going to subject these war profiteers to stricter regulations and will we hold them accountable in a court of law for the crimes they commit?

Rebuild

Money currently being directed to military operations should instead flow into rebuilding. Contracts are open to bidding, accountability is part of the plan, rebuilding happens on a reasonable budget and in a reasonable lenght of time. Infrastructure, hospitals, schools, everything which has been destroyed and which is vital for communities to function, must be rebuilt. The U.S. makes a formal apology to Iraq and its people for all the destruction, killing, chaos, displacement, and meddling.
