4. OPEN OUR BORDERS TO MEXICO.
5. PROVIDE SWIFT MULTINATIONAL, BORDERLESS PUNISHMENT FOR RAPE.
6. REPEAL NAFTA.
Submit the UN Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women for ratification by Congress! It is a black mark on our country that we have not yet signed on to this Convention for nearly 3 decades.
The US government should step completely out of all rulings adverse to women's rights in this country. In other words, keep Roe vs Wade if that is what is necessary for access to abortion for now, but eventually all doctors should be legally available to perform abortion regardless of religious beliefs.
All rights to women should be reinstituted unconditionally, and if a right never existed, it should remain a right, privacy and individual needs with a code decided on by women like Ms Germaine.
The next president should also live up to our commitments to fund UNFPA and should contribute to -- instead of undermining -- women's global health, and promote reproductive and human rights within the UN system.
