Cuba Embargo

Mr. Obama, President of U.S.A. Allow Cubans to decide their own path to justice, freedom, democracy and socialism. Just respect that and you'll be respected as the President that changed the World. We all are chained to shame and gilt, to hope and future, still we can do better. Just free the Cuban Five and lift the embargo. Trade embargo for dialog and peace. You'll see the fruit and benefit for both countries. Peace on you Mr. President.

It is time to help Cuba move toward Democracy, and stop punishing the people for what their government does, and end the embargo. If we can have trade relations with other Communist countries such as China and North Korea, it is ridiculous to continue this grudge against Cuba. We need to open trade and diplomatic relations with Cuba.

On day one our new President Barack Obama should do two things: 1) Review and lift the Cuba embargo. It is a cold war anachronism which has failed to achieve its original goal. We need a dialogue and a pragmatic engagement with Cuban society. 2) Remove the inhuman and cruel policies of George W Bush which say that my aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and nieces are not part of my family and prevent me from visiting them in Cuba. 3) Allow all Americans to freely travel to Cuba.
