Travel to Cuba

End all travel restrictions on travel to Cuba for all American citizens, not just Cuban-Americans. In fact, let's end the unproductive and criminal embargo and establish diplomatic relations with our neighbor to the south.

On day one our new President Barack Obama should do two things: 1) Review and lift the Cuba embargo. It is a cold war anachronism which has failed to achieve its original goal. We need a dialogue and a pragmatic engagement with Cuban society. 2) Remove the inhuman and cruel policies of George W Bush which say that my aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and nieces are not part of my family and prevent me from visiting them in Cuba. 3) Allow all Americans to freely travel to Cuba.
