There must be an alternative to using oneupmanships of force to settle disputes. I, for one, would support renouncing veto power in the United Nations Security Council provided everybody else in it does the same. Otherwise, who can blame a nation or group for wanting nuclear weapons. After all. Who wants to be the next Iraq. With Veto power still in place, powerful nations, not necessarily the USA, can make a mockery of the only known alternative to military pissing matches. The down payment on
We must have open talks...with all Countries, and restore faith and trust between nations..... Trust and honesty, communication.... between our Country, and the United Nations.... talks, talks and more talks if necessary, to assure the U.S. and other countries feel safe and secure from us or others.
