Strict emission standards must be in place immediately. Forget about cap and trade, no corporation should be able to purchase their way out of their reponsibilities to the planet and the human species.
Tell the U.S.: waste not, want not! Live simply so others can simply live! With 4.6% of world population, we use 25% of total resources & cause 25% of Global Warming! We need a Cap & Trade carbon pollution policy. The underlying problem is human overpopulation. Anyone with more than 2 children should be taxed 50% on all income & assets. We should give free birth control to everyone on Earth! Put a $3 per gallon tax on gasoline & reduce busfare to 5 or 10 cents!
