Recycling

We live in Georgia. We recycle almost everything but we have to drive 1 hour to the only place we can find (a private concern). Please make recycling centers in every town of 3000 or more. There could be a super fund where individuals or government agencies could apply to get money to put one in. Please look into why the companies cannot recycle #s 3,4,5,6,7,9 and styrofoam and plastic bags. There are tons of those going into land fills.

One of the more serious problems our planet is facing is global warming. I have noticed that where I live only two families care about recycling: mine and one of my neighbors. There should be more vigilance about that. There should be a screening on people's wastes and fine the ones who mix up recycling items with regular garbage. Also hunting innocent animals should be illegal. Sarah Palin should be held accountable for all the animals she has victimized. That's animal cruelty.

We have too many health problems from ambiguous sources, too many chemicals in our air, water, food. We need to get off of artificial ingredients, chemical/petroleum based plastics need to be traded for corn-based plastics. If more organics are supported, farmers will be better supported. Chemical workers can switch, or can buy stocks in clean energy then sit back and get rich as it becomes standardized. Recycling needs to be more easily available. Ppl can be paid to sort it as new jobs.

Lots of things--budget items for research, government buildings becoming "green," even just recycling in all of them!
