Encourage Americans to stop being so selfish with our resources and privileges! He/She will need to increase Americans awareness of our inter-connectedness with all the world's living things so that we don't abuse and lose them!

We need to be concerned about this because without clean air to breathe, clean water to drink, etc. do all the other "issues" matter? We are the guardians of this Earth and we need to protect all of the creatures, we need to respect the Earth and not abuse it as the administration has been the last 7+ years. It is not ours to abuse-we need to care for it for the future generations to come.

Sign the Kyoto Agreement already. We need solar energy in full effect every new home needs to be equiped with panels; We need to do what it takes to lesson our Abuse of OIL, we need strict fuel standards- like 60-65mpg, STOP produciton of all "old" light bulbs that pollute our planet.Reduce, reuse, recycle- HELP AMERICANS afford Hybrid Green Vehicles- these need to be the only Vehicles made. Trade in those pollution clunkers- NOW. Stop drilling in our prestine areas where our wildlife thrives. I

It's not too late to do something about global warming. We are probably the top nation of environmental abusers. It is going to affect every country in the world. It is common knowledge the ice caps are melting stranding the polar bear's young from their mothers. We have the technology now to start making a major impact on global warming.
