The whole world knows our one-sided Middle East policy. The Palestinians are suffering. We let Israel rule and occupy Palestinian land for 40 years and we don't care. We turn our heads while Israel adds more settlements and apartment buildings in East Jersusalem. Remember this: we will never be secure until there is a fair and just settlemnt to the Palestinian issue. If you want to be safe... start by solving the Palestinian issue.
Fund the State Department and the National Endowment for the Arts on a par with the Department of Defense. We have to learn to get along with other people (that's what the State Department is for) and to do that we have to understand them (art works well for that.)
