Terrorists, our government, and germ commercials manipulate us through fear. Only we individuals can reclaim our courage. Life is risk, weigh relative dangers: hurricanes, chance of being killed by a terrorist, domestic violence, car accidents, heart attacks.
Then, get proactive. Begin to work on solutions to injustice and hopelessness feed frustration and rage. Creating hope and justice is much harder than dropping bombs, but we went to the moon, didn't we? Hard is not an excuse.

On the first day of the next administration, the new president should project a new vision to the world - a vision of hope, strength, and respect for the human condition, and one that calls for the empowerment of all women.
The new President should work to ensure border security, fight terrorism, eliminate budget earmarks, and shrink the government. But above all, the President needs to inspire us to return to the values of independence, responsibility, and liberty on which America was founded. The President needs to communicate why it is that "that government governs best which governs least," and why we have sound reasons to be hopeful for our future. We can shine as a beacon to every nation in need of hope.
