reparations

Mr.

The Palestinian issue is the primary cause of anti-American terrorism. The US must accelerate the formation of a free and independent Palestine w/o Israeli settlements, w/o Israeli control of the water, and w/o Israeli blocking access to cropland. The Illegal settlements MUST be turned over to Palestine intact as well as the connecting roads as reparation. We need to build their infrastructure: roads, electricity, sanitation, port facilities, schools, hospitals, irrigations systems, etc.

Wars end with peace agreements

Immediately hold official peace talks with all warring factions in Iraq (certainly including our own); provide for amnesty and, if necessary, a schedule of reparations payments by our government. Acknowledge our illegal invasion, and leave. That may be costly, but, in the end, it will be far less costly than attempting to preserve an occupation based on brute force and which is sending our economy into a dizzying circle of inflation.

DO UNTO OURSELVES BEFORE IT IS DONE TO US

Advertise to the World, that we were wrong to punish the Island Country of Cuba and its people, specifically its leader, Fidel Castro, for the past 47 years, and commit to repaying Cuba an amount equal to the difference that country lost each year in GNP beginning with the first day the US imposed an embargo or economic sanctions. The total figure amount to be paid in the form of tangible goods and/or services, with the Cuban authorities given a 51% decision on each compensation.

Reparations?

Bob Landry said, "Demand reparations from the Iraqis—maybe an oil field or two—in return for the work we’ve done there." Demand reparations for the work we have done there? The Iraqis should probably be demanding reparations for the damage we have done. I agreed we should get out but that decision should be made on the first day in office. If the problem could not be "solved" in 5 years, it will not be solved in a week.
