The same 9/11 widows etc. who made the 9/11 Commission happen have now made the film 9/11 Press for Truth (view below) showing it was a whitewash. NY Times reporter Philip Shenon's new book The Commission reveals that much "evidence" came from torture and that Commission Exec. Director Philip Zelikow was joined at the hip with Condi Rice, consulted with Karl Rove during the investigation and then had those phone logs suppressed! Let's get a real investigation NOT controlled by politicians.
If we impeach Cheney, then Bush, and then the others responsible for destroying the Constitution, civil liberties, and the world reputation of the USA, we open the door to two crucial possibilities:
1 - Reconciliation and forgiveness between the USA and all the countries it has exploited and damaged.
2 - The recovery of a true democracy here in th USA.
If we don't impeach those responsible for the destruction we have wrought upon the world and our own country, we invite more of the same.
I live outside the country. Impeachment, of at least Cheney, will do more than any other action to restore America´s reputation. ¨Foreigners ask me " You live in a democracy. How can your leaders commit so many terrible things and nothing happens?" It´s a good question, isn´t it? We cannot start restoring our own balance as well as balance in the world without
impeachment. Defend the Constitution first. Then we can work with others.
Arrest Bush and Cheney. Send a swat team of Iraq Vets into the WH, drag them out in chains down the street to the Capital, shackle them to the wall in the old basement jail, read 'em their rights, and hold a conspiracy to commit war crimes trial tomorrow morning. A cross-sectional representative jury is guaranteed to convict (http://www.hist.umn.edu/~ruggles/Approval.htm). Then send them to GITMO.
