On day one, the President needs to review all policies put in place during the Bush administration so that we may begin to undo the atrocities waged against Iraqis, the Earth, the Environment, Animals, Trees, civil liberties, and the human rights that were violated within the last 8 years. The President would also need to address the failing economy and alternative fuel, as well as ask for forgiveness from the appropriate entitties for the acts perpetrated in our names for the last 8 years

Make a statement to the world from Day 1 by ratifying Kyoto

On Day One of the new Australian Prime Minister's reign, PM Kevin Rudd ratified the Kyoto Protocol within an hour of being sworn in. Since then he has continued to issue in positive change. The new President of the US should make the same immediate public statement and move the US forward in the world's damaged respect for its global impact and foreign policy.
