CREATE HEALTHY POLICIES/SAFE GUARDS PRONTO...LET'S QUITE BEING SELFISH OLD FOOLS AND GET ON BOARD THE ENVIRONMENTAL SAFE TRAIN AND TRY TO HELP TURN THINGS AROUND FOR OUR GRANDCHILDREN...WE SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF TREATING THIS EARTH AND ALL LIVING THINGS WITH SUCH DISREGARD!!!

The first thing that needs to be done is for the corporations to stop being greedy. One of the reasons no one wants to let go of oil and other environmental hazards is money hungry people. We desperately need to go to windpower, solarpower and other renewable resources that I know we have the technology for, but people are sitting on because of pure greed! Some people may deter from it because of the looks of windpower, butwe need to get past vanity and on to helping our precious environment!

Gather together the leaders of environmental organizations and listen to their suggestions about all the things we can do to prevent climate change.

No new coal plants. We should be phasing out coal plants and moving at lightening speed to renewable energy. Show some urgency, vision and leadership. Make environmental decisions based on science, not on politics or information obtained from lobbyists. Be more aggressive with goals to reduce CO2 emissions. There is so much we could do today with existing technologies to create a sustainable united states, but we need the government to step in and lead massive change.
