Nuclear weapons are genocidal weapons, and therefore already outlawed by international law.If we allow every nation a severely limited, small number of nuclear weapson for defensive purposes, and outlaw all other nuclear weapons, then we would have a semblance of national security and absence of agressive actions by any one nation. The world may be able to live without the nuclear holocaust we all dread today.
Global Warming needs to be treated as a national security issue, because the ensuing disasters will create famine, chaos, and death everywhere. It will require that America mobilize in a way that hasn't happened since WWII, but I and everyone else who has signed this are ready to make that sacrifice.
