Set the Right Course for Our Foreign Policy

It's a dangerous world right now, as Russia is threatening its neighbors, and things are still not settled in Iraq and Afghanistan. On Day One, the next president needs to set our priorities straight about supporting our friends abroad and confronting our enemies.

Be A Peace Candidate

My first assignment for the next President is to be a peace candidate. His platform has to start with peace -- including getting out of Iraq. We also have to have a serious, forward-reaching platform for energy reform that addresses global warming, because the rest of the issues are all connected to that.

It is time for Americans to rethink the interventionist foreign policy that is accepted without question in Washington

“Peace, commerce, and honest friendship with all nations- entangling alliances with none.” - Thomas Jefferson ******** "It’s hypocritical to dismiss certain founding principles simply because a convenient rationale is needed to justify interventionist policies today. The principles enshrined in the Constitution do not change. If anything, today’s more complex world cries out for the moral clarity provided by a noninterventionist foreign policy." --Ron Paul

Actually follow our constitution when it comes to fighting wars...

Don't go to war unless you have a Declaration of War from Congress authorizing it (otherwise the war goes on forever). & Don't go to war unless the threat is IMMINENT. If it is, then ONLY go after the selected individuals involved.
