It is far easier to maintain peace than it is to wage countless wars... There is wisdom in forming a Peace Department as that would put our focus on creating and sustaining peace. We have found that meditation decreases violence so let us insure that more of our citizens practice that and pray and intend too for peace for the world as these things are powerful according to all scientific studies.
I am all for people believing what they want to believe as long as they are not pushing there thoughts on other people. Therefore I believe something we need to work on is the seperation of church and state! Church needs to stay in church! There are far more imporatant things for our children of America to be learning in school then religion! The greatest reason to live in the states is our wonderful freedom, freedom to think what we want to think, how and when. Speration of Church and State
Establish a United Sates Department of Peace and Nonviolence. Beyond a Department alone, hold the framework to actively work toward a Culture of Peace. Much is accepted now in our national psychy as an unchallengeable Truth.("That's just the way it is") But so much more can be addressed, acknowledged, honored before conflict (an ineviatble human condition) escalates into to violence. There is much research which supports this possibility. Unite these best practices and give them their due voice
