Stop funding entitlement programs with federal money. The current tax and entitlement system essentially amounts to the enslavement of all by all for the benefit of some. If a concept is not useful enough to be a benefit to all, it should not be the burden of all. Currently, half of America lives off of the other half. That is not fair. When you take into account the fact that we essentially have no border, it is safe to say that the American taxpayer is enslaved by the entire world.
The next President should require the Federal budget comply with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) - the same rules the Feds require businesses to use - so the country can finally get a sense of the fiscal impossibility of meeting the country's budgetary commitments.
