Stop the Genocide in Darfur

On his first day in office, the next U.S. President needs to make a priority of stopping the genocide in Darfur and bringing peace to Sudan. This entails a committed effort to achieve peace, to protect civilians, and to ensure accountability that is acceptable to the victims of this genocide.

Ideas for a Better Future

Let's give the UN our support. Take McCain's idea of a Democracy Caucus, but do that within the UN itself. Make sure the US signs on to the ICC (International Criminal Court) not just to arrest war criminals, but to serve as a deterrent to those who might do terrible things. Let's talk to Iran's President. He's just a human being. I didn't see fire spewing from his mouth when Larry King interviewed him last week. Just talk. What can it hurt? I trust Obama with our future, not McCain!
