Industrial hemp

Let's use this gift the way it was intended. It can save our planet and give us all the energy we need, grown right here in America. We could be self sufficient and not have to use the earth's blood for our gas, heat, etc. There would be no more poisonous emissions to kill the ozone layer and our air would be so much cleaner. Legalize hemp and lets use it to save ourselves!

I see a 3 or 4 part plan. We must switch 50% of our guns and bombs budget over to building an Electric Car that we can plug into our Solar powered roofs. Which would put generations to work on something useful. And we must start using the male hemp plant to make biodiesel fuel. When Farmers are allowed to grow hemp, it will help them, along with the industries from the plastics, papers and cloths we can make from hemp.

Our foolish rush to ethanol is seeing the encreased demise of old growth forest upon the globe. While I advocate the usage of Industrial Hemp for our paper and wood product usage, there is another alternative. Bamboo, with varieties that can be grown at 50 degrees latitude is an excellent plant for eco usage. The carbon sequesterian abilites and range of this plant is almost as universal as Hemp itself. I call for the Secretary of Agriculture, to launch a study in the benefits of Bamboo.
