Global Climate Change will be the defining issue of our generation. If we do not treat it as the emergency it is, there may be NO future for our grandchildren. We must change NOW!

Climate change should be one of the first things that is considered because it affects all of us.

All countries must dramatically reduce greenhouse gas emissions if we are to avoid catastrophic consequences of climate change on nations and peoples around the world. United States has the economic ability, the knowhow and a substantial part of the population is interested in USA to take the leadership in developing sustainable and drastic solutions. The quicker we act the less painful this will be.

Global warming is being relegated to the economy, the war, even to petty bickering during debates. Climate change will affect every other major issue, most likely making things worse. Address the problems now and through innovation green technologies can accelerate the economy in a safe way while creating consensus with all the countries that signed the Kyoto Protocol. Meanwhile, a shift in world dependence on oil will be a basis for ending wars such as Iraq.
