In overpopulated and developing countries like India where employment opportunities are insufficient, BPO firms have come as a boon to many families. I would request President Obama to encourage American companies to set up more such firms in poor and developing countries which will provide employment to thousands of educated unemployed youths and help in eradicating global poverty. This will also build a positive image of the American President and of the U.S.A. in the minds of people worldwide

The President should issue an unequivocal Executive Order: No prisoner or detainee of any department, agency or contracted entity shall be tortured or mistreated, physically, psychologically or otherwise, or turned over to any other country without verifiable guarantees. All personnel acting under US authority, whether armed service, intelligence or contractor are obliged to report any instances of prisoner mistreatment to an executive-level ombudperson empowered to conduct a full investigation

President Clinton must go about rebuilding coalitions with the other major nations on the planet by coming together with them to discuss what the planet's major issues are and how they can be resolved by working together. Planet survival must come first, climate change/global warming etc., followed by helping its inhabitants meet their basic human needs of food, water, and shelter. These steps will do much toward peace for all. Those whose needs are not met attack existing civilization.
