In order for the US to have a better image, we have to eliminate illiteracy for all Americans. Uneducated teenage parents producing children with no future. Corporations dig a hole to the bottom line sending jobs to cheaper labor. Young people who can't find jobs and have no medical insurance. A growing number of baby boomers losing their jobs and can't make ends meet. We need cheap safe effective birth control. Once we take care of our own, we can worry about our neighbors.
The US should stop trying to dominate the world through pillaging the natural resources in it's every hungry capiatalistic greed. Were we not plundering the oil of the Middle East, 9/11 would never have happened. nearly all of the 9/11 attackers were Saudis where some 4,000 plundering plutacratic princes dominate their population through oil sold to the US and Europe. The population turns to it's only hope which is fundamental Islam. This oppression bodes bad for everyone incuding us.
