OFFICIAL RULES

ELIGIBILITY: NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. The On Day One Y in the World video contest (“the contest”) is open to legal residents of the United States (except Puerto Rico, Guam, U.S. Virgin Islands, and all other U.S. and foreign territories and possessions, and excluding where otherwise prohibited by law, rule or regulation) and Canada (except the province of Quebec) who are 18 years or older at the time of entry. Employees, officers, and directors (including immediate family members and members of the same household) of the Better World Campaign campaign, c/o the United Nations Foundation, and any and all other companies associated with the contest are not eligible to participate. Online entrants to the contest will be given the option to receive commercial e-mails from On Day One and/or the Better World Campaign; however, eligibility to participate in the contest is not dependent upon entrant's consent to receive such e-mails. The contest is subject to all applicable federal, state, local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited or restricted by law.

HOW TO ENTER: The contest begins at 12:00 PM ET on April 15, 2008 and ends at 6:00 PM ET on June 1, 2008 ("Entry Period"). Individuals can enter online. Limit one entry per person.

Online Method: During the Entry Period, go to www.OnDayOne.org/YintheWorld (the "On Day One Website") and click on the banners, buttons and/or links to access the online entry form for the contest. By following the directions on the site and uploading your video, you will be automatically entered in the contest. Entrants must complete all non-optional data requested on the online entry form. Incomplete entries are void.

WINNERS: Two winners will be chosen in two categories: Most Creative Video and Best Idea. Applicants will be judged on creativity, initiative, and originality of the youth perspective. The winner of the contest (the "Winner") will be selected and announced by the On Day One team on June 15, 2008. If under 18, the winners will be eligible to bring a chaperone. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received. All prizes will be awarded. Limit one prize per person, family or household.

PRIZES: Winners will receive a prize package including roundtrip coach airfare to the New York City metropolitan area, hotel accommodation for three nights, and the opportunity to blog live from the Youth Leadership Summit for On Day One. The Youth Leadership Summit includes three days of conference sessions and a service project, breakfast and lunch each day, a closing dinner cruise around New York, conference materials, and an official summit t-shirt. The Winner is fully responsible for any and all applicable federal, state, international and local taxes. All costs and expenses not specified herein, related to the Prize, including but not limited to lodging, transportation costs, meals, taxes (including income taxes) and gratuities and other expenses incurred by accepting the Prize are the sole responsibility of the Winner. Winner's companions must be 18 years of age or older, unless traveling with a parent or guardian.

The Prize is non-transferable and non-assignable, with no cash redemptions or substitutions. On Day One, the Better World Campaign, and any and all other companies associated with the contest will not be responsible for Acts of God, acts of terrorism, civil disturbances, work stoppage or any other natural disaster outside their control that may cause the cancellation of the Youth Leadership Summit. There will be no substitutions for the Prize.

NOTIFICATION: The Winner will be notified by e-mail and/or telephone by a representative of On Day One. In the event that the Winner does not respond to any such notification within three (3) days, a disqualification will result and an alternate Winner shall be chosen from among all remaining eligible entries.

WAIVER OF LIABILITY/PUBLICITY RELEASE:
By participating in the contest and submitting an entry, all entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules, including all entry requirements. By entering the contest, each Winner agrees to waive any and all claims against On Day One, the Better World Campaign, and any and all other companies associated with the contest for any injury, damage or loss that may occur from the participation in the contest or from the receipt or use of any prize or travel related to the receipt or use of any prize, and each Winner grants to against On Day One, the Better World Campaign, and any and all other companies associated with the contest the right to publicize such Winner's name and/or likeness in any medium without additional compensation or consideration unless prohibited by law.

GENERAL CONDITIONS: On Day One, the Better World Campaign, and any and all other companies associated with the contest are not responsible for printing or typographical errors in any contest-related materials; stolen, late or misdirected entries, lost, damaged, garbled, delayed, misdirected, damaged, incomplete, postage due or illegible entries. Sweepstakes entries generated by a script, macro or other mechanical or automated means will be disqualified. On Day One, the Better World Campaign, and any and all other companies associated with the contest are not responsible for incorrect, inaccurate transcription or loss or delay of entry or prize reply information, or any viruses transmitted to computers of participants via the Internet, or for any technical or human errors associated with the contest. If, in On Day One’s exclusive judgment, this promotion becomes compromised in any way, On Day One reserves the right to withdraw the promotion offer, cancel any method of entry, to void any entries submitted fraudulently or select Winners from all eligible entries received prior to act that compromised the promotion.

Any attempt to deliberately damage the content or operation of this contest is unlawful and subject to legal action by On Day One, the Better World Campaign, and any and all other companies associated with the contest. On Day One shall have the sole right to disqualify any contestant for violation of these Official Rules or any applicable laws relating to the Sweepstakes, and to resolve all disputes in their sole discretion. On Day One, the Better World Campaign, and any and all other companies associated with the contest (i) make no warranty, guaranty or representation of any kind concerning any prize, and (ii) disclaim any implied warranty. All disputes will be resolved under applicable U.S. laws in the County of New York, state of New York.

On Day One reserves the right in their sole discretion, to cancel or suspend the contest should virus, bugs, unauthorized human intervention, or other causes beyond the control On Day One, the Better World Campaign, and any and all other companies associated with the contest corrupt administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper operation of the Sweepstakes. In the event of cancellation, On Day One may elect to identify Winners and award the prizes by way of random drawing from among all entrants who had entered the Sweepstakes at the time of such cancellations.

All online entries must include a valid e-mail address for the entrant. In case of multiple entries, only the first entry received will be considered. In the event of a dispute as to the identity or eligibility of a Winner based on an e-mail address, the winning entry will be declared made by the "Authorized Account Holder" of the e-mail address submitted at the time of the entry. The "Authorized Account Holder" is the person to whom the applicable Internet service provider or other organization (such as business or educational institution) has assigned the e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address.
